Vista, VRDB updating with screensaver, and 1227.

Version 4.8.1201 had a problem updating the VRDB under Vista using the screensaver mode. I do not see the problem listed as one of the changes for 4.8.1227. What is the status of this problem?

I now have read the other topic. I disagree with your view that 'when idle' does not work. It does for me. In other discussions on this board, it was alleged that it would be repaired.

As far as its usefullness, I too have questioned that.
