To be objective are the results comparable to other tests?

With all respect, the virus.gr tests are well-known in the AV community as nothing but rubbish.
Their methodology is seriously flawed, and the results generally have no meaning.
Which tests do you suggest to take a look into?

Avast Professional has a detection rate of 93.78% what about the free home edition :)
The same. Detection rate isn't a difference between Pro and Home.

But these tests surely affect a antivirus software's demand in the market and these tests also increase or decrease a customer's trust in their antivirus software ;)

I base my trust on personal experience of the software I'm using not an arbitrary test, flawed or otherwise. I have had avast for almost four and a half years.

I pay more attention to the likes of av-comparatives.org though, the problem the majority of users have never heard of the sites that would be considered more robust/reliable tests. For that matter many haven't heard of or even gone looking for any sort of test site, many only see it in computer magazines, which can also fall into the good the bad and the downright ugly.

The problem defending the indefensible as it won't make a jot of difference to those who might be swayed by a one of set of test results over their own personal experience (for those who have used a product in the tests.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

had to giggle... apart from that, I didn't really pay much attention. Results seem to echo those of other AV test outfits.

Still trying to be objective and give the guy a fair shot.  Something scientific.  Why are his results not much different than others?
