i just installed avast free antivirus,,i think it found three fulse positives

ok,,,i just installed avast free antivirus last night on 7-3-2008
i think it found three fulse positives.
these file are important,, i wont delete them.

here is some info on my pc

windows xp home SP3( sp3 was installed awhile ago before i installed avast)
dell dimension 2400.
1 gig of ram.

i used to have avg free 7.5,,,i got rid of it .

i have for protection installed.

avast 4.8 home aditon(free)
spybot search & distroy(new)
spyware blaster (new)
super antispyware(new)
adaware "2007"

plus i have a paid version of a pop-cap game that i got from a store at "bestbuy"
siad a po-cap file was a trojan( i believe another fulse positve,,, had this game for 6 months now).

ok,,i was able to send two of the file's ,,,but the third a .exe file thats in the image screen capture,,, i tried to send it but it said it sent it but with errors,,something about it being too big.

what is

An HJT fix, can be reversed if you find any adverse side effects (provided you left the default settings to back-up before fixing, see image, so if you do this fix in isolation you can restore just that fix. However, your system, your choice.

As you found leaving the default (MAPI) in sending the email from the chest works, I never managed to get SMTP to work either.

It possibly didn't send it, you can check your sent items folder and see if it did go. You can change the avast Program Settings, Chest, Max file size to send, so it is bigger than the file you want to send should resolve that.

First if you are only using Firefox, I don't think this is an issue as it is for IE as in the command string previously quoted, but you wouldn't need to uninstall it as such, fixing it in the HJT scan would remove the command to run it.

Files and folders can be hidden and you can un-hide them, from windows explorer, tools, folder options, view tab, see image and set as for the entries indicated by the Red line.

well i still have those three files in my virus chest.
i did another scan from boot.
i also did a scan all files and archives today(7-6-2008). lol,,, funny,,i did not know i had that many files ,,,wow!!!!,,,
no more new infections,,only the ones it found previously and those 3 will just stay in the virus chest for now.

i will fix(takes this out using the high-jack this program)
