Well i just started with avast and i have a problem with a message stating: "avast!On-Access Scanner Message". It is continuously scrolling on my desktop. How do I hide what it is scanning? HELP!!! 
Hello. You must have changed the default settings of the Standard Shield provider. No problem:
1. Left click on the 'a' blue icon on the system tray.
2. Choose Standard Shield providers at lelf and click on 'Customize'
3. Go to 'Advanced' tab and uncheck the option 'Show detailed information...'
This will let the same protection level but avast will work in silent...
