« on: July 23, 2008, 04:59:55 AM »
I got some antispyware products from a computer through LAN. Then I ran a product called Bulletproof spyware-adware remover from bulletproof.com It detected a lot of infection in my computer Then I ran another product called NoAdware from NoAdware.net and it detected Bulletproof spyware-adware remover as a spyware Is it really a spyware or both the products spyware
Can you please tell me which of the following are legitimate or illegitimate products?
1.Bulletproof spyware-adware remover
2.Noadware from Noadware.net
3.SpySubtract from intermute
4.PestPatrol Corporate edition :)

RogueRemover is a utility that can remove various rogue antispyware, antivirus and hard drive cleaning utilities. Rogue applications are applications that rather than remove spyware, provide false positives, distribute malware or spyware, advertise, or provide useless uninstallers. The main point is that rogue applications are useless and eat up system resources.

Pest Patrol is the only one on your list
intermute site is blocked by many block lists

do go to Malware Bytes and run their rogue remover and anti malware

for free anti spyware/ malware programs
general purpose
Spybot Search and Destroy
Super Anti Spy (SAS)

Ad-Aware (mostly anti ad-ware)
A-Squared (trojans)
very few others
watch for false positives on all programs
quarantine do not remove
google any hits
submit to virus total
post back if you find anything
if using IE install SpywareBlaster
