Avast.setup.exe error

I am getting an error when i boot my computer saying avast.setup.exe could not be started or ran.   Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Strange... can you upload this file to www.virustotal.com and see if it is clean.
I would expect avast.setup and not avast.setup.exe...
