False Positive? Win32:Adware-gen [Adw] - PrivBar.dll

I've had PrivBar installed as an addon in IE7 for a while now, but this morning Avast highlighted it as Adware.

I got it via here I think:

Apparently other virus scanners such as F-Secure and AVG also originally picked it up as adware.

Could someone check to see if it's clean or whether it really is adware?

To know if it's a false positive, Upload the file to VirusTotal and post the results.

I have the same problem. used it for some time without any problems on Win XP Pro SP2.
This false positive only stared with database Ver 080729-1.
I have uploaded privbar.dll to Total Virus and got the results here:

Only Avast and Gdata have reported this as a Win32:Adware-gen.

Hope Avast can remove this as false positive.

Followed the procedure above.
This is now fixed. The virus database that does not show privbar.dll as a false positive is V080731-0.
