What are these files in the Subject? I have over 50 of them and have only just downloaded Avast?

They are temporary install files.

Download CCleaner to clean out temporary files plus a lot of other Windows un-necessary junk:

In the same Temp folder I have a subfolder: _Avast4_

It is a text file and when I try to open it I am told that it is being used

What is that one for?
