« on: August 01, 2008, 09:37:05 PM »
Hi malware fighters,

Koffix Blocker
Koffix Blocker offers you the possibility to add a number of sites of questionable reputation to Internet Explorer's restricted websites zone.
The programme also offers you the possibility to block websites via the hosts file.
Koffix Blocker is freeware and to be used with Windows 98/ME/2000/2003/XP.
More info on Koffix Blocker you will find at http://koffix.com.
How to use it:
An extended manual can be found at the Koffix homepage: http://koffix.com/user-manual/ (or use the button on the start page)
With questions and problems you can go to the Koffix-Forum

    * Download Koffix Blocker: http://koffix.com/download.html
    * Doubleclick to start installing it.
    * After it has installed go to Start - All programmes - Koffix Blocker and click Koffix.
    * Go to the "Updates" tab. Click the button "Search for updates".
    * Whenever an update is available, this is being downloaded and saved on your computer.
    * Then click the button "Scan".
    * You will get a survey of sites you like to add to the zone of websites with limited access, and a  survey of sites to add to your host file.
    * Tag the sites you like to add. If you like to add them all tag "section"" before "Description".
    * When this is finished, down at the screen click "Apply selected changes" to block the tagged sites.

Updates:
Koffix is been updated regularly.
To be able to add new sites, you have to check from time to time whether new updates are available.
