ineed help my brothers

i have INIST my avast in windows xp and i didnt have any problem with that


but my problem is win i upgrade xp to vista   ...   vista have block it and gave me the the reason for that action      the problem is        msvcr71.dll  cant be found     

i tried to update my avast or UNINST it but vista didnt let me to do that


if you say it is because windows fire wall    ...   then i dont think so  because i try that and i have the same problem



so please help

You can download a copy of the .dll file you mentioned here...

Just unzip the .dll file (by itself, not both files) to your system folder and restart your computer. :)

When upgrading the OS, I suggest an installation from the scratch:

1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first (if you can).
2. Boot.
3. Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall and use it for complete uninstallation.
4. Boot.
5. Install again the latest avast! version.
6. Boot.
7. Check and post the results.
