How to remove Klif.sys?

Hi ..any expert here please help me this .. after login to windows xp professional sp3 Avast antivirus prompt out message said Malware found on my pc windows\system32\drivers\klif.sys ,i try select delete all ,but after restart system or off pc on back login windows still came out this message ,any solution?  ::)

According to the results of a Google search (always a good idea, nudge nudge wink wink) this driver belongs to part of the Kaspersky range of products, and seems most likely to be an anti-rootkit scanner.
You should mail the sample to Avast to check its status as a possible FP.

As a part of the Kaspersky Internet Security Suite, you either have it still installed or remnants are left of it.

Having two resident scanners installed is not recommended as rather than provide twice the protection it can cause conflicts that could leave you more vulnerable.

Run this utility to remove all traces of Kaspersky from the registry:
http://www.ice-kav.com/downloads/util/KAV_Registry_Clean.zip
ICE is a US distributor for Kaspersky.

Just a little FYI on this issue..

I have klif.sys showing up on my clean install of windows.. after deleting a dirty install of windows that got a trojan within 20 minutes.. (stupid ie6)..

Anyways, Neither install ever had kapersky, I use avira, and I am having irql_less_or_not_equal bsod's because of this klif.sys file

so there may be some merit to this guys problem..
