I can try that. But won't manualy removing my profile also erase all of my bookmarks, favorites etc?
Sure. You can backup them before (when Firefox is still installed) using MozBackup.

Any chance I need to "allow" youtube to run flash in my firewall or something?
Don't know... sorry.

Also I have not found a definitive answer on "run as administrator." I'm going to use it from now on anyway, but I have UAC turned off because it was annoying. Maybe I avoided the run as admin problem that way?
I don't see a reason that a flash need to be run as administrator.
I have tweak UAC to not see the black locked screen, but it is ON. It's not annoying, it's necessary for security.

I'd be really interested to know how you did that? I just turned it off because I couldn't stand having it pop up every time I did something on the computer. If there was a way to keep it running, without the constant distraction involved, I would love to switch it back.

Also: YoKenny- I just researched the OpenDNS thing and I'll admit it does look appealing. I've got a fairly speedy connection through comcast, although I was thinking of switching to AT&T U-Verse...but that's another thread. Do you think I would see a significant improvement by switching? Are there any security risks or anything I could be concerned about? I was about to switch it immediately, and decided to try and gather a little more information about it first.

TweakUAC works really well in quiet mode. The only quirk is that when I do log in to an "Administrator" profile I get a warning balloon prompting me to turn on UAC.

I have often read about Comcast but as I don't have first hand experience I can only offer what Google sees:

No matter what ISP service supplier you chose OpenDNS will provide faster browsing.
