Running Win98 with OSL2000 multi-boot loader
After cloning (copying) a partition with either Windows copy or Karen's Replicator(Avast is active during the copy and I've not tried it with Avast exited), then booting from the newly cloned partition, the Avast GUI does not start. I start the Avast GUI, it asks for the initial Avast password as if I'm a new user but does not show the GUI after a valid password entry, however after a reboot all is as it should be with all Avast settings properly set. This is always reproducable.
Although I have a work around, I'm wondering what is causing this and if there is some solution.
