VRDB missing
« on: September 01, 2008, 10:49:18 PM »
I've had the Home Edition on my desktop for a couple of months and it works great so just the other day I installed it on my son's computer. I've noticed though on his computer when you right click on the tray icon VRDB is not listed, why is this and what can I do about it?

For the 'i' icon (VRDB): http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=14356.msg121337#msg121337
Check your avast4.ini file settings. Click 'Settings' in my signature and browse for the VRDB section.

[VRDB]
MergeIcons   =0
Disabled=0
ShowTaskbarIcon=1

But before, can't you unmerge the 'a' and 'i' icons by the context menu of the 'a' icon?
