Rising AV

I have sailed to China and back.

Well, I tested it (Rising) for about month.  Nothing remarkable to report.  Nothing bad happened but I didn't like the interface at all.  I would compare it to something like COMODO as far as being productive.

Also, I used PC Tools (which now has a blip on the radar) for a while but it is sort of like the old Etrust free program several years ago.  Anyway, you can get better protection by only using the Avast! Mail, Network, and Standard Shields, which I'm doing now after a several year hiatus though I turned off just about everything else including the animated icon and sound.  Yeah, I went out and test them all except for F-Prot.  Actually, I have used F-Prot (DOS) when I was using Avast! many years ago to scan boot records.  That was a long time ago.  So, yep, I guess you can say I've tested them all.

Thanks for testing Rising AV which most of us know little about.

Good to have you back, Culpeper.    :)
