How to *not* scan network drives?
« on: September 08, 2008, 06:09:22 AM »
I do *not* want to scan \\servername\foldername.

Where's the setting for that?

I'm running the demo of 4.7, build date of dec2007.

Thanks!

104 views and 20 days later and still no response from Avast.  Obviously others are having this problem; has anybody else heard from Avast?

They must not want my money very bad. :-(

I tried fixing this by setting the services to run as administrator.  After changing this and rebooting, the services won't start due to "Circular dependency: The avast! iAVS4 Control Service service depends on a service in a group which starts later", and "The avast! Antivirus service was unable to log on as mydomain\administrator with the currently configured password due to the following error: An attempt was made to logon, but the network logon service was not started."
