spalsh screen advanced is not visible

Hello,
I have a problem with xp pro (service pack 2) and the last avast pro
When I start the avast program I can see the splash screen with test memory. Then the test is finished or if I bypass the test the advanced splash screen is not visible.
I try to remove the position in the register of window but nothing change.
In window safe mode I can see the splash screen, but in 'normal' mode of windows nothing.
I try to repair the installation, remove (with avast clean utility) and reinstall but nothing change.
If I try to start ashSimpl.exe from comand line the simple interface is visible. If I try to change to advanced the interface is not visible.
Maybe is moved 'outside' the visible desktop but I haven't any mode to move the windows.
In task bar of windows nothing is diplayed.

Have you any suggestion?

What happens if you directly run ashEnhcd.exe from avast folder?
Did you have any other antivirus in this computer? How did you uninstall it?
Are you using the trial period or you have already added your license key?

Hello,
avast have a valid multilicenze code. In antoher 5 pc all is ok.
If I try to start ashEnhcd.exe directlin (from line comand) I have the same problem. The screen is invisible.
Only avast is running on this pc as antivirus. No more software as antispayware is installed.
In safe mode of windows all working perfectly, I can see simple and enanched versions of interface.

Do you use ZoneAlarm? Which is your firewall?
I know that you've said only avast is running, but did you have any other antivirus in the past in this computer?

No, I use external firewall.
I have 5 PC all with the same configuration: xp pro and avast, of sure another program as autocad, ecc.
All pc have avast as first antivirus. No another antivirus before and firewall programs (except firewall integrated in xp).
In last 5 month all is regular, but from 1 week I have this problem only on 1 pc.

lcp, sorry, it's difficult to troubleshoot this...  I suppose the ashEnchd.exe process is running (can you see it into Windows Task Manager?)
I suggest an installation from the scratch:

1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
2. Boot.
3. Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall and use it for complete uninstallation.
4. Boot.
5. Install again the latest avast! version.
6. Boot.
7. Check and post the results.

Yes, in task manger I can found ashEnchd, but I can't terminate it.
I have try this:
At the start of PC (first logon) I start Avast. During test memory select move windows from icon on task bar and move the test windows in top left corner of desktop. When test is finished the enanched windows is visible.
I close the windows and repeat the operation but the enanched windows is invisible!!!

Ok, in the future I try your suggestion (next week I'm in holiday).
Is it very strange. No virus found. Today I've search for spyware but nothing is found.
