« on: April 13, 2004, 01:36:26 AM »
I just d/loaded and installed   "Avast" for linux (Mandrake 10)

avast: avast! 0.1.2
VPS: 3120-4 (date: 06.01.2004)

It installed ok, but when I try to use it, it tells me ....

'avast: can not initialize avast! engine: Registration key expired'

Question ?

How do I obtain a ney Registration key for linux?

wawadave,
Yes as it is a BETA version it forces you to keep the current version. and thats a GOOD thing as BETA versions have bugs and flaws. If you do not like getting a new version every month give ALWIL a few months and a Full bersion will be released that is not BETA
