Win32/Adware.Virtumonde and Win32/privacyremoer.m64 HELP!

My comp is infected with the following two viruses: 
Win32/Adware.Virtumonde and Win32/privacyremoer.m64

My friend made a copy of AVAST for me because these two viruses will not allow me to connect to the internet...but when I tried to install it...the program does not show up on my comp. 

What can I do to get rid of this problem?  Any help appreciated.

The tool described in the essexboy's post will produce a list of altered files. You will be able to see which programs are corrupted. This link will take you to his post and the tool link.

Thanks for all your suggestions...but the problem is I can't download anything because the virus will not allow me to connect to the internet(so getting the malware programs and the like is a no go).  That is why my friend made a copy of AVAST....but the problem is the virus will not allow me to install it...my drives are empty when I try to install the program.

I really really need sopme help...anybody??

Download from other computer and run DrWeb CureIT! instead of avast.

If you can, I suggest you run full computer on-line scanning also:
Kaspersky (very good detection rates)
ESET NOD32
Trendmicro housecall
F-Secure
BitDefender (free removal of the malware)

A-squared has a version downloadable on a friends computer to a thumb drive
Spybot can also be configured that way see SaferNetworks Spybot forum for info
several of the AV's mentioned can be burnt to a CD or thumb drive

do you have no Anti-spyware program installed?
