How would you tweak your Windows XP Services?

Years ago, I used the Blackviper info to disable unneeded or unwanted services with good results. I do not remember all of them at the moment but for sure Windows Messenger was disabled and then removed.

With extreme care, for the majority this is totally unnecessary.

I have played with them manually for a while now, it seems as though you can sqeeze a little more out of a PC by doing it............. I think you gain better performace by stopping various things from starting at boot 

I am normally running between 30 and 33 processes in task mgr
