Avast and Windows XP Screensavers
« on: September 26, 2008, 07:29:37 AM »
Can someone confirm when you do use Windows XP/Avast screensavers do you have a "Nearly  Black Background"  behind the screen savers = or do you have the bluey grey background?
Why I ask is that I feel prior to updating my Windows XP Home OEM last week with the SP3 Service Pak I  now do have black backgrounds to all screensavers whether they  were Windows XP screensavers and or Avast screensavers?
Prior to the SP3 I feel I had the screensaver showing the background of a Grey like colour
Your comments would be appreciated

Can't you configure the background color? Sorry, now I'm on Vista...

Mine are Black, with the exception of Marquee which is a Dark Blue.

Doesn't seem to be a way to change the background colour in XP Pro.

Did you maybe adjust the settings for your monitor or video card?
