creating skins ?

first let me say "hello guys'n'girls, i'm new here. and thank you very much  for providing the free home edition

now my question ( yes, i did use the search function)
is there any info on how the skins are made for avast! ?
i would like to do one in my freetime, but i don't know which grafix-format  to use and how the roll-over-like buttons are implemented

oops...i guess he don't leave his mobile numbers....if he do....he'll be damn busy.... ;D

give him a email....or try to search in these forums....i remembered some one wanted to make skins too... ;)
