Installation error on Home edition

Hi people,

When I try to install the !Avast home edition i get the error message
"An error 5 (00000005) has occured.
Last performed operation was:
Spawning"

I have a pentium III 500 running on windows ME with a Kerio firewall.

Does anyone know a solution to the problem, because i was recommended !avast a couple of times and I'd really like to be able to install it!

This means 'access denied' when trying to run the main executable.

Make sure that
a) your temporary directory is empty
b) you've got enough rights to run the setup (admin)
c) you've got enough rights to write to temporary directory

then try again, please

Do you have any other av software installed? If so remove it 1st.
