 Is avast ok to install on new 64 bit vista ?Dell machine

avast! works perfectly on 64bit systems. In fact avast! was one of the few that supported 64bit systems first.

Some features are not available though (like boot time scanning...).

They need to develop the drives to be loaded and this is quite a huge work...

Yes, on XP 64bits the boot time isn't available (yet ???).
