Memory Usage
« on: November 16, 2008, 01:53:30 PM »
Hello Friends,

Hi I Just Use KasperSky Anti-Virus 2009 For 1 Week. And In Idle Time My Memory Usage Is 200-260 MB In XP. But In Avast Its Reached Near About 450 MB. I Wonder If There Some Memory Leakage In Avast After Doing Some Browsing. Listening Some Music And Some Work.

Hope If This Is A BUG It Will Fix Soon. Thank You. :)

Sound strange, my avast is really light on resources. And my computers is online all time. Are you using the latest version of avast?

Is there a special avast process that use much memory for you? (check with task manager)

No, avast hasn't this feature.

Set USB VirusScan

For me:
"<path>\USBVirusScan.exe" -c -i "<path>\ashQuick.exe" j:
Where j: is the drive letter I receive when I insert the USB stick.
