Windows Vista 64

I know that Avast is completely compatible with Windows Vista, but does that inalso include Windows Vista 64 bit? Also if Avast is in fact compatible with Vista 64, does it protect ALL components of the operating system? Thanks in advance for any help in this regard.

Does anyone use Skype on Vista 64?  How about a US Robotics Skype phone with Vista 64?

I'm thinking about getting a new computer with Vista 64, but first I need to know if my Skype set up will work on Vista 64.
