HELP! Wireless Network Connection

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the Avast community.  I've just recently bought 3, 3 year packages for my small office network.

Since installing Avast on my work laptop, I am not completely unable to connect to my wireless network here.  I've tried to completely disable the program, turn off the windows firewall and I still have no success.  I've never had a problem like this until I installed

Can someone help?  It's amazing how much I use the internet at the office, so this is really a big annoyance.

do or did you have any other security programs installed?
(antivirus, firewall,...)
for example norton antivirus preinstalled when you bought the laptop?

I did have Norton Anti Virus installed.  I deleted Norton prior to installing Avast though.

You'll need to fully remove Symantec before avast! works properly.

1) Uninstall avast! from Add/Remove Programs and reboot,
2) Run the Symantec removal tool and reboot,
3) Reinstall avast!
