HELP! Wireless Network Connection

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the Avast community.  I've just recently bought 3, 3 year packages for my small office network.

Since installing Avast on my work laptop, I am not completely unable to connect to my wireless network here.  I've tried to completely disable the program, turn off the windows firewall and I still have no success.  I've never had a problem like this until I installed :(

Can someone help?  It's amazing how much I use the internet at the office, so this is really a big annoyance.

Thanks for the advice.  Any ideas to help me resolve this problem though?

do or did you have any other security programs installed?
(antivirus, firewall,...)
for example norton antivirus preinstalled when you bought the laptop?

I did have Norton Anti Virus installed.  I deleted Norton prior to installing Avast though.

You'll need to fully remove Symantec before avast! works properly.

1) Uninstall avast! from Add/Remove Programs and reboot,
2) Run the Symantec removal tool and reboot,
3) Reinstall avast!
