I want to know it i can install and deploy avast free edition on 10 pc's in a school? I can i do this?

Not as far as I'm aware, the home version is for Home, non-commercial use, which includes non-profit making, charitable organisations, etc.

You should contact sales (at) avast dot com as there might be a special price for schools.

No, the Home version is really only for home (and simultaneously non-commercial) usage.

can i use/claim this "education institution discount" if i want to install avast on my personal laptop (which i mainly use for school, because i'm in a laptop-class...)
or am i allowed to use the home-edition?

Are you a teacher? i.e., you use your laptop to work and earn money? You can't use avast Home.
If you're a student, you can.

I'm a student
to be a teacher i'd be a bit too young...^^ (just got 18)
