Why am I not able to schedule a boot time scan?It is shaded out.What does this mean,and how do I correct this?Thanks for your help.Bear41???

Hello. Most, if not all of us, are having this issue right now. It shall be rectified in the program update, and otherwise avast! is working just fine. See the below thread for details, and if you want to read the avast! team's responses, be sure to read all 4 pages.

The boot-time scan is available only on Windows NT/2000/XP - if you are using Windows 9x or ME, it is disabled.
