That Avast 4.8.1296 is now downloaded and running on my XP Pro SP2 along with Online Armor 3.0.0.190FREE, Opera 9.62 without problems so far

I also apologize to David for stepping on his toes in another thread 8)

Now you can update to SP3 that has been available for 5 months and working for me just fine.
