It's in your avast folder.
If you've set up avast to the default folder, you'll fine the sound file at:
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ENGLISH\virfound.wav

I've put all the sounds and the gif file that are in that folder  in to a zip file.
You can download it from:
http://mysharedfiles.no-ip.org/AvastSoundsAndGif.zip

Remember, before you can extract these files in to the proper folder,
you'll need to change the avast settings and check the box to "Disable avast! self-defense module"

Make sure you again un-check that setting when you've finished your repair.

OK, The  sound files are on my computer right where you say they should be...but..they don't play avast seems to be working fine just no sounds. It always  said, "data base has been updated" after it finished up dating almost every time I signed on,
I see it  but can't hear any sounds????????????????????????????
Help please?
Vista They played before( whatever it was that I did) I had trouble with sounds playing in other programs and went to the sound files and checked "stuff" I thought maybe by accident I deleted the sound files but they are where you said they should be.( there is more to this computer that I don't know than I do know)
