Can I install Avast free version on a 2nd home computer?
« on: December 10, 2008, 01:48:24 AM »
Hi ... I have been using Avast for many years. I will be receiving a netbook shortly that will be for home personal use and want to know if I can install Avast on the 2nd computer using the same license I have been using. If not, can I get a second free license for the netbook?

What is the policy for the home edition?

Provided the second or more computers is used for Home, non-commercial use (both must apply) then you can use the same key in the second or subsequent computers.

What is the policy for the home edition?

The policy is that you must tell all your friends how great avast are...and if they disagree or using another antivirus software, you must smash their head with your keyboard, so they get better thoughts  ;D

Nah, just kidding, DavidR gave you the right answer! :)
