When virus is detected
« on: December 23, 2008, 07:40:45 AM »
Hello ppl.
I recently purchase Avast pro 4.8. Now my question is when I set to scan drive exp.. F: and virus is detected warning msg pop up and virus scan is halted at 20%. How do I disable that option? All I want is when I press to scan drive even if virus is detected to continue with scanning and on the end when is 100% done then to ask me what to do with that infected file.
ty.

In Professional version you need to configure the Tasks settings at Virus page (see picture here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=13315.msg112285#msg112285).
Feel free to ask for further help and welcome to forums.

Well, you should start the scanning by the Enhanced Interface (Tasks) and not from the skin one...
Right click the skin and change (alternate) to the Professional version (Enhanced Interface).
