How do I remove a virus in Web Shield on my Mac Pro desktop computer? Thank you.

Can you post a screenshot of the message please?

Also if Avast keeps blocking a website you may have malware/Adware on your Mac.

Try to run Malwarebytes for Mac: https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/

Please also check if your Firewall is enabled under system settings>Security and Privacy>Firewall (Its disabled by default)

Also check Gatekeeper in the main page of that system settings area. You may want to check to allow Apps from the Mac App Store only.
(You can still run an app by right click and choosing open to run it when youre sure its save)
