Well this forum would tend to indicate that, avast! 4 for Linux/Unix/Mac, so yes it does, have a browse round that forum.

hello,

I still can not install avast! on my computer.  I don't know if I have the wrong system of not on my computer.  Here is what I have on my computer:
  Machine Model:   iBook G4
  CPU Type:   PowerPC G4  (1.1)
  Number Of CPUs:   1
  CPU Speed:   1.07 GHz
  L2 Cache (per CPU):   512 KB
  Memory:   256 MB
  Bus Speed:   133 MHz
  Boot ROM Version:   4.8.5f0
