Daemon Died Message - Avast 2.7RO Service Kit 1.41

When selecting full system scan, scan runs for several minutes then I get message: 

Daemon Died 
The file scan daemon died scanning the path
/
of 1 paths (0 remains).  Do you want to scan again when the daemon is relaunched?
