on-access scan?

hi, does avast for linux can do on-access scanning? which scans file whenever there is an application accessing or someone is. because what i installed, doesn't have any options to set.

Nope, it only supports on demand scanning.

avast for workstation is on-demand only. anyway, making on-access scanner collides a bit with the idea of user separation, and kernel patch/module is necessary. avastguard (mediator for avastd) & dazuko (loadable krnel module) work this way.
