No. Just put the new Avast Pro key in the licence key field and avast will download the necessary files to run Avast Pro.

Avast Home V Avast Pro differences http://www.avast.com/eng/av4_version_comp.html

The Pro version is much more configurable as it has the Enhanced User Interface, where you can set-up scheduled scans, setup automated action/s to take should something be detected rather than the interactive requirements of the home version.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

If you open the Simple User Interface, where you would do on-demand scans, find the Menu icon or right click on the middle of the skin and from the list select Enhanced User Interface.

Because we are all different ;D

I don't like white as a background colour (too bright) so I change my Windows Display properties (not a difference in avast).
