Welcome to the forums, jimmyhoffa.   :)

I just used Pandora a few nights ago without any problems.

Are you getting any error messages and if so, what are they?

Thank you,

I havent gotten any error messages, but since I have joined I have read in the FAQ how running comodo and avast at the same time can compromise their effectiveness. So I have since disabled Comodo. Also, I checked out the Pandora FAQ's and read that its possible for your AV or FW to block the flash or java script pandora uses to show the songs. Is it possible avast is blocking this script? Im not sure how to remedy this if it is.

Jimmy -

As I write this I have Pandora playing while using Opera 9.6 and the other night I played Pandora using IE7 ... both without any problems. So, I do not believe it is a problem with avast. Maybe it is your browser settings or perhaps a pop-up blocker ... though I do have the built-in pop-up blockers active in both IE & Opera.

What browser are you using?

Do you have the latest version of Flash player?

Have you read the FAQs for Pandora?

BTW, Pandora says that dial-up is not supported but it works for me on a 52K connection with a little buffering.

I'm using the new Firefox. Whatever it was it has stopped occurring since I came back home.  I was using a public network at the time, is it possible it could of been blocked through that?

Yes, it is possible that flash and/or java was blocked at the public access.

I am glad it is working for you at home.   :)
