Re Avast Proffessional v home edition

I purchased AVAST PROFESSIONAL to replace my free home version. After the download an AVAST pop MSG told me that I was trying to download an older version of Avast than the one I was currently running. The MSG said that to continue I needed to install my current version. Naturally, I am hesitant to do this and am wondering why I just spent all this money for an upgrade? Can somebody please explain to me what is going on. Thank you

Where were you buy and downloading the Pro version from ?

You shouldn't actually have to download the full program. If you have received your email with the pro license key, you can enter that key in the same location you did for the Home version. Provided you are on-line it should convert the Home version to the Pro version.
