ubuntu 9.10 avast does not work after update

how to solve it?

becasuse the language of my PC is Simplified Chinese ,so I can`t cope the message of error to this,please forgave me!

and after del the ~/.avast/*.vps(not clearly,i think it is a kind of Antivirus Library) it can work

read the sticky post in the head of this forum - it's just insufficient shmmax limit, chage it using /proc/sys or sysctl utility to something >128000000.
