does this not work on vista 64 bit?

after it booted a windows xp screen came up and then blue screen of death, what is up with this, I just want to run a bootime scan since it's not supported in 64 bit.

I suggest to try BART CD 3.0 beta - it's more likely to work with new hardware.

this will let you run a boottime scan like in the old days when I had 32 bit?

No, as in Igors's reply in your other topic.

There's no "boot-time scan" in BART CD - that wouldn't make much sense.
I believe what the suggestions meant was that, as David said, when booting from a CD, the operating system isn't started from disk - so any malware, possibly installed in the system, doesn't have any chance to run.
