Hi everyone,
I am trying out Avast on my network - I have been using NOD32 but I think it is compromised...
Any way, I have a network with IPcop acting as the firewall, I also have ADVproxy addon for IPcop installed...My problem is that I need to get Avast to update through my proxy.
In ADVProxy, I am suppose to create a custom web browser client to allow Avast through the proxy.
I need to add to the useragent file within IPcop the following data:
name,display,(reg exp)
Advproxy help says to log useragent so I view the logs and setup the rule to allow Avast to update, this is what my log shows me:
192.168.0.249 [13/Feb/2009:14:04:16 -1000] "Syncer/4.80 (av_pro-1335;p)"
Could someone please assist in setting up this rule to allow Avast useragent to go thru the proxy?
