Virus message added to emails?
« on: February 18, 2009, 10:45:08 PM »
Avast used to add a message to incoming and outgoing e-mails certifying that they were virus-free.  What happened to that feature?  It no longer does it and I cannot find any way to turn it on.  I was hoping it was in the email wizard, but that, too, is gone on my Win2K and XP systems.

Right click the Avast! icon and look under On Access Protection Control/Internet Mail/Customize.  There should be a box to check for "insert note in clean message" for each of the email types you are scanning.

The email wizard isn't required with win2k, XP or Vista as it needs no changes to your email accounts, that is only required in older OSes like win9x and winME. So no email wizard.
