For quite some time I haven't been able to use the wireless feature on my laptop. One day it simply quit working and disappeared from my network connections. It also disappeared from the drop down list under Network Adapters in the Device Manager.
A few days ago I uninstalled Avast and reinstalled the home edition. During the time period between uninstalling and reinstalling Avast, my wireless adapter magically appeared in the Device Manager, and I was once again able to use it.
But now that Avast has been reinstalled, my wireless adapter is nowhere to be found in the Device Manager.
Any suggestions?
