« on: February 20, 2009, 09:31:14 PM »
Good day all

I am about to pull the trigger on purchasing a two year subscription on the "Family Pack" that comes with 10 PC licenses and 1 Windows home server licenses. I wanted to know do I have ot buy the Mac edition on top of the Family pack to cover my Mac mini?

The family pack as far as I'm aware only works on the windows version of avast pro.

You could contact sales (at) avast (dot) com to confirm.

One other short question, If I purchase this product will I be able to upgraded to the next version of the software ie Avast 5 or am I locked to the current version?

No, avast allows to update versions during the license period. No problem, you'll get avast 5.
