Script blocker board aappearing only for IE?

Hello,

When I open my browser IE7, immediately a rectangular board, in grey color with blue lines on the top and the bottom of it,  is appearing  for 2-3 seconds, with written on its left side “avast professional!” and on its right side  “script blocker”.

But when I open my browser Mozilla Firefox I never see that same board appearing. Why ?

Because the Script blocker only supports three browsers, IE, Mozilla (not firefox) and one other that I can't recall (I'm using the Home version), but you should see it in the select browsers you want to protect.

The Web Shield up to a point would be giving protection but not in as much depth.

Assuming you are talking about the script blocker, open the script blocker provider, Customize, Advanced page and disable it.
