Hi,
it doesn't...

but well, you can delete it:
solution 1: (just hint  ;D ) aswResp.dat
Or
solution 2: reinstall  :(

Sometimes it can be useful and exploit the hint is almost impossible.

Sure? What about a system without self defense module... admin rights... just deleting the file...

Yes, but
1. avast! instances on Systems without SD module are close to 0%
2. if a user has administrator rights he can do what ever he wants so he is able to cancel pasw quite easy without the hint anyway.
3. Is very unexpected that somebody will want cancel the pasw without correct reason (except malware makers but they know the hint very well alredy  :-\ )

Tom, some kids could want to bypass their parents configurations... Some non-admin users, bypass the password also... But, if you say we can disclose that info, I'll post when a user lost his/her password.

Well, Tom is right in that the info will not help a restricted user - and an Administrator already has plenty of other ways to change/remove avast!.
