Firefox and Opera on the same system. Any issues/
« on: March 08, 2009, 07:50:58 PM »
hello, possibly a silly question.

Is there any harm in having both browsers installed on my system?  Or, for that matter, is there any benefit?

I am a longtime FF user, but I am giving Opera a test drive.  I like some things about it, but I will ultimately probably stick with FF.  However, I may just leave Opera installed, so long as it doesn't contradict with Avast in any way.

Thanks.

No, no problems at all.
Benefits? When you're having trouble displaying a site with one browser, you can test the other. Also, if you have problems with Firefox addons, you can try Opera.

You can have all the browsers installed. Only one can be default, so no problems there.
