Mail Scanner "misunderstands" language
« on: March 17, 2009, 06:13:22 PM »
Whenever I receive or send Outlook email with Hebrew text in the subject or addressee field, I get an Avast "Suspicious Message" warning.
Is there a way to make Avast understand that this is a valid string?
I am not talking about translating Avast into Hebrew; staying with English is OK, just looking for a way to avoid that annoying popup.

hi Eligal99!

do you have the box i marked in the picture ticked?
(leftclick the A-symbol in the Taskbar --> go to the outlook/exchange provider --> customize --> heuristik - enhanced)
does it help if you untick this?
